Robert Langston started Clearflow in 2008 after spending two decades working for larger plumbing companies. He saw an industry that too often prioritized speed over quality, volume over care. He wanted to build something different.
Starting with just himself and one apprentice, Robert built Clearflow on word-of-mouth referrals. The philosophy was simple: do excellent work, charge fairly, communicate clearly, and clean up after yourself. That approach resonated with Portland homeowners.
Today, our team of twelve handles everything from emergency calls to full commercial buildouts. But the founding principles haven't changed. Every plumber on our team is trained not just in technical excellence, but in the kind of service that makes clients call us back — and refer their neighbors.
